<description>kutch is district of Gujarat state in western India. (also spelled as Kachchh)
Kutch district is inhabited by various groups and communities. Many of these have reached this region after centuries of migration from neighbouring regions of Marwar (Western Rajasthan), Sindh, Afghanistan and further. Even today, one can find various nomadic, semi nomadic and artisan groups living in Kutch.
iam just back from a wonderful trip to katch ,bhuj in gujarat
well traveled with great stories to tell on village life
he focus of the trip was exploring the tribal cultures of the Rabaris, who we came upon one day by the side of the road. I am always looking at our cross-cultural truths, the importance of family, community, and ritual, and the amazing diversity of its expression. What intrigues me is discovering how people live, as if in different millennia, yet co-existing at the same time. Minds set in different ages, walk the same dusty streets, drink the same water and live out their lives amidst the cows, which wander everywhere, and the riotous colorful confusion.
famous indian actor amitab Bachchan's signature dialogue for the Kutch shoot is, "Kutch nahi dekha, to kuch nahi dekha."(if youre not seen kutch nothing you seen in life) And he seems to believe it too.
its true
