I have got the question, “Why would you move from Hawaii to Kansas” a lot. I find it as a new opportunity to explore, to see, and to photograph the beauty in Kansas. As a photographer, I see beauty in everything, everywhere. Here in Kansas, photography has led me to become a certified storm spotter amongst being a 2nd shooter for a wedding on my birthday. For 4 years I photographed, hiked, zip lined, and surfed in Hawaii. I even played a crime scene photographer on Hawaii Five-O. I welcomed a new adventure to Kansas. I can give you a million reasons why I should win, but it all comes down to I really want this. I want a new best day ever as a photographer, as a real photographer! I don’t want to be on the sets playing the photographer. I want to be the lucky photographer in Greenland living my dream learning from the best! I’m hungry to learn more, do more, and be more as a photographer. This is an opportunity of a lifetime and - I’m applying! Being a photographer and traveling – that’s ME!
