My Photo scholarship 2011 entry

I adore traveling. Every time I have some spare time I dedicate myself to organize trips to new places. I would like to discover the whole world though I know that's impossible in a man's life. At last I learned we should work for living, not the opposite, so when I quit my job last year I decided to fulfill one of my dreams: to travel around the world and discover new places that are far away from everything. Most of all I enjoy nature and even if I've already visited some of the places I've dreamed about for a long time, there are still many more. Another big passion (even if I'm just a beginner) is photography. Because when you see again the photos you took, you remember that place how it really is or was; when you show your photos to other people and you tell them about your adventures and they exclaimed amazed one thing I always tell them: you have to see it with your own eyes because it's by far much more beautiful but at least you can show them things they would never expect in such places as Greenland, Antarctica, Easter Island and many others. So at the end, combining all this, what else I could ask for than learn and work in something related to my biggest passions (traveling, History and photography). I just can say one thing: I'm not afraid of changes and always willing to accept a new challenge if it is really interesting.

Greenland 2007

Finally I managed to visit one of my dream lands. It was quite an unconventional trip (15 days of kayaking and hiking in South West Greenland) and I expected an amazing adventure ... expectations were high ... and it completely fulfilled it. This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been and I will always remember it and the group of people I met there. 9 adventurers enjoying nature away from the commodities of our normal life. 15 days to enjoy a world of beauty, quietness ... and hard work. Greenland, a place that, amazingly, fully deserves its name when you discover it: ice, yes, but also green, blue, wonderful sunsets and amazing clear water.
