I want to be as good reporting about places and people around the world in photos as I am in words – or better.<br/>My drive is altruistic and selfish; I would like to be an amplifier for people and places that need attention or bring places to people not able to access them. <br/>Personally, I’m powered by the interaction with people and places made possible by the camera. Curiosity and a fascination with cultural diversity is my GPS in life and its taken me through a bachelor’s degree in anthropology in Denmark, a master’s degree in multimedia journalism in New York, and on extended travels in the Middle East and elsewhere.<br/>My drive is there, but my photography skills need improvement. Being mentored by Jason Edwards would be the ultimate opportunity for me to excel in my greatest passion.<br/>Simultaneously, Jason Edwards will be working with a super absorbing sponge of an aspiring photographer with a positive mind, and the right amount of dedication, patience, verve and sense of humor.
