Since graduating University a couple of years ago I have been working all sorts of jobs around the country to save up money for trips. My motivation for the trips is photography, I love to photograph new places, new people, the experience and the unexpected. I shoot all my photos on film and enjoy the challenge that brings, especially in hot and humid countries. My images feel very much part of a 'snapshot' aesthetic, and this is what I enjoy mostly about photography as well as researching the classic masters. So far my travels have taken me to Vietnam, parts of South America which I would really love to revisit and also a small part of Europe. After my trips I try to make the most out of my photographs by self publishing zines and putting on small group shows with my friends and like minded people. I would really love to be chosen for the assignment as I am starting to think about photo journalism and how to make a difference to the world using my photographs.
