I have always been interested in the arts, but like so many others, moved into a different career path. Traveling to Asia has reignited my interest in photography and I felt it was important to get back to doing what I love. As a result of this realisation, I have recently completed my Masters in Cross Disciplinary Art and Design - and this has solidified in my mind that photography is what I should be doing. I have decided to take leave from my current employment in 2013 to learn more about the craft of photography. I am eager to learn and to grow as a photographer and a person. I feel that Oman, being such a different culture, than that of my own, combined with the expertise of Jason Edwards would truly provide me with the challenges and learning opportunities needed to make me a better photographer and perhaps see the world in a new and different perspective. I am also interested in learning about the process of photography from start to finish, and hopefully with more practice and mentoring I will be able to set my sights on becoming a professional photographer.
