I am a very honest person with a lot of social and enviromental sensitivity. One of the things that I love the most is travelling and getting myself in places that I have never been before. Even in a big city like New York or in small towns like Santa Elena de Uairén. What I like is to know the people and how do they live, what do they do everyday and lear a lot from their culture and costume. I also love taking photos and that's why I have been studying a lot. My best photo area is photojournalism and landscape photography. My name is Ivan Mejia and I am from Venezuela. My country is a very special one, because here we have lot of beautiful landscapes. Such as La Gran Sabana with the Angels Falls and all the tepuys (table mountains). Also Venezuela has a small place in Falcon state where a desert is right before the coast. I have been able to see a lot of my country and I am thankful to that. I have a strong desire for traveling and for visiting new places. Sometimes I think that the human being must go out and see the entire world and if he can, travel it. There are amazing landscapes like Africa, Asia, Oceania and America or Europe and I will like to see them all. I have traveling since I was 6 year old, I have started with my mother and I want to keep going. Perhaps there are a lot of people more capable than me in technical aspects of photography, but I have been studying hard to take good pictures and trying to capture the entire beauty of my country, now I would like to do it around the world.
