Photos: My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

After traveling extensively in the last 10 years throughout Asia and Middle East, I decided in 2010 to unplug my career as architect and start a motorbike round the world tour. 420 days and 55000 km later I have completed the first leg of my adventure, the circumnavigation of the African continent. Traveling overland by bike gave me the opportunity to reach remote and little-known places, immerse myself in the local culture while staying in villages, see amazing places and meet Africa's people. I tried to capture the spirit of the place I was in, take my time to learn those elusive details from the locals.
Pick me and give me the opportunity to learn, experiment and evolve into a better photographer. My strengths are that I am resilient and adventurous, I love to stay in remote places and adapt to new environments; I want to keep going to such places, and come back with stories that speak to the crowds.
Thank you for the opportunity.
