What different kind of cultures? This curiosity took me to different places in India and outside. I want to showcase – Rajasthan. It is a popular Indian destination known for its Grandeur, Heritage, Architecture, Culture and Desert. I looked at Rajasthan at its Sam dunes in Jaisalmer in a lateral world - it gave me a perfect setup to my perspective of “Urban Mannequins”. I always had this idea that we are just posing in front urban paparazzi – the not coming to an end, performance in front of world. The desert gave the perfect ramp – sun the perfect flash and I just clicked it. It all made sense at ones. We are just posing – playing our part. Jaisalmer’s sand dunes despite its ferocity and lack of life sustaining give lessons of life – I would call it a spiritual abode. Seen without human spirit is just a desert, which does not acknowledge human existence.
