Photos: My Photo scholarship 2011 entry

Through my photos, I sift through a large scene to find human moments which strike me, and magnify and preserve them. I am often times a lone wanderer, and in quiet (and sometimes lonely) moments, I watch the human beings around me as though I am reading from the pages of a book, and then I tell a story. I see photography as a form of ink which can be put on a blank white page, and retold and reinterpreted by every person that sees it. I believe that I should be chosen because I have an innate eye for photography, coupled with a heartfelt need to tell stories that express the solitude, fire, fight, music, sadness, compassion and beauty of the human creature.
