I feel drawn by human faces, by the actions of the individuals, by the surprise of their interactions with the environment. Regardless if I have the camera with me or not, I look closely in an effort to educate my eyes, I watch with curiosity what happens around me and sometimes even eavesdrop to pieces of conversation. Unfortunately I don’t have time to photograph as much as I’d like to, but when I do, I'm there, in the moment, with all my heart. Through photography I learned the importance of little things, most often ignored by others, I learned to love people, and to care about them even if they’re strangers. I like to take photography no matter the weather, if I’m cold or not, if I'm hungry or tired. One of my favorite photographers is Vivian Maier. I like the subtlety of her photos and her ability to capture images of everyday life as if she wasn’t even there. I love the stories behind her photos and I want to be able to tell stories like that through my photos. Experience along with a professional photographer would be a unique gift, a strong motivation to become a better photographer.
