Photos: My Scholarship entry - My Scholarship entry - Windows (Waldspirale)

Hello,
My name is Ionut Cirja and I'm an amateur photographer from Romania. I discovered photography a few years ago-in fact, I took my first pictures in 2007, but everything is so fresh in my mind, as it was yesterday. All this time, I explored many areas in photography, I tried to shoot a little bit from everything (landscapes, portraits, travel, journalism, street, conceptual and even some event photography), but the most important thing that I discovered, lately, about me and my photography, is that I like to capture small details of this big world. I love to extract details from their context and give them a powerful metaphorical meaning. And this could be the reason why should I be chosen for this scholarship.
There are lots of wonderful nature details that can't hardly wait to be captured at the Peruvian Amazon!
