Im going home today!!!

Hello once again,

I made it to Manchester from France on the National Expresss/Eurolines combination. It was a hellish journey, with three stops, Lille, Callis (For the ferry) and London. On our final stop (London for you who cant keep up) we decided that rather than have a nice fry up while we waited for our connection, it would be a great idea to have some Rabies and Hep B. So off to Nomad travel clinic we went, got the injections, and made it to the bus just in time. We had to get them done on that day, as any of you will know, these vaccinations have to be done to a strict schedule. The others shall be done in Letterkenny (Ireland) and back in london, THE DAY BEFORE I TRAVEL TO THAILAND!!! How exciting is that.

Im going home today for christmas tonight, that should be fun, im sitting writing this as i patiently wait for the time to leave. Everything is packed, all that remains is to get on the bus.

I managed to finish the TEFL course. Well done me, there are several certificates waiting for me at home. I have also come to a decision regarding the Cycling question posed in the previous post. We have bought some cycling shorts and a Map, so as you may have guessed, we plan on at least doing a little cycling.

Wish you all a Merry Christmas, and ill see you soon.

Bye.

Im in France, decisions made.

Hey all,

So im in France, staying with my girlfriends parents. House and surrounding area is lovely and we've been taking the time to relax, make some decisions & finish my TEFL.

If any of you have been keeping an eye on the news you would have seen that Bangkok airport had been brought to a standstill while protesters staged a "sit in" of sorts to force the government out of office. Basically the protesters want the government out of office because they think that they are against the royal family and dont hold the values of the monarchy respectfully. They staged the sit in at the airport in Bangkok, and brought that, and another airport in Bangkok to a standstill for about a week or so. As well as having occupied a government building for months. All this happend about a week or so after i booked flights to Bangkok so im quite releaved that everything passed peacefully and successfully for the protesters. (Maybe Northern Ireland could learn a thing or two)

So im sill going to Bangkok, sorry to all of you who thought it was a good idea for me to go and see them (Emma and Alli) but fuck it. ITS THAILAND.

I do have another question to put to you all. I went for a short bike ride with Rachel in the French country side, and had the genius idea to cycle around Cambodia and down the Vietnam Coast. These places are roughly the same size of Ireland with a little wiggle room for different countries, and we would be going at a pace of dead slow to stop. Deffinately not cycling every day. What do you think? Should we go for it or just use public transport?

Thats all ive been doing at the minute, ill get some pictures posted of France once i get a chance to use my own computer thats connected to t'internet and reply to those group emails that ive recieved from a few of you.

On that note i have to run,

Catch ya later.

Where to go???

Hey all,

This is my first post here, and hopefully there will be many more. Right now im in Manchester, and we (Me and my lovely girlfriend Rachel) have many smaller trips planned between now and the massive one in the new year. Ill keep it simple now. In the new year were going to Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam in January, but we cant decide where to go first. Vietnam is out for being out first port of call due to the fact that its easier to get a visa in Bangkok, Thailand when were on the ground than organize it now. So my dear friends, where shall we go first?? Let me know in the Comments section.

Small trips between now and then are three weeks in Poutort, France, England for one week, then Northern Ireland for Christmas, Paris for New Year.
