Doing electives in photography over the last year has seriously heightened my passion and love for photography. Particularly, wildlife photography has captured my interest more than any other. A long time Nat Geo subscriber, I have always admired the men and women who take such outstanding photographs. Their ability to tell a story with still frames as well as their resounding bravery are qualities that few people in the world have. Working alongside Jason Edwards would be a dream come true. The photos I have uploaded came from an early morning visit to the Melbourne Zoo in Australia. Particularly, I am proud of the way the photos capture the mood of the animals in their surrounding environment. I was astounded I was able to see raw emotion in the faces of the animals so clearly. If I was chosen for this scholarship, I would not take the opportunity lightly.
