I study in various mediums: painting, photography, film/video, sculpture, ceramics, and creative writing. In my spare time, I work to save and invest in personal travels. I pride myself in being independent, and I know I can handle immersing myself in a culture very different from mine. During my junior year of high school, I had won a all-expense paid volunteer trip to Madagascar from the organization the Fairchild Challenge. There, I had learned a lot about myself and others; it gave me a worldly perspective.
