I am a 29 year old, Los Angeles based photographer. When I'd first relocated to LA in 2006, I was employed and mentored by David LaChapelle for a few years, a job so demanding I never got to see the sun. My reply was to begin my photographic endeavors by moonlight, and I'd spent years shooting only by night. I fell in love with nocturnal photography and the creative freedom it allowed. My artistic interests started with painting, but once I realized I could paint landscapes with light, my brush was quickly replaced by my camera. The love of travel and discovery is so intertwined with my love of photography. I grew up awestruck by NatGeo, and its had a definite impact on my love of adventure.
