Poor customer service at Crete island

we arrived late after the ferry ride and checked in to our

hotel which were very unfriendly. We asked if the downtown area was around

the corner. She said yes ,then we asked her is all the stores closed , she said yes

you should go Tommorow at 9 am everything closed now. It's only 900 pm.

so we thought oh well it's a quiet area so no eating late at night and we didn't

eat on the ferry ride. Then we saw a couple in the elevator who told us the restaurants still open.

so we showered and head to the downtown center and there were so many people around.

we went to the travel agency and told them we have 2 days here what tours do you have !

she called everything sold out already. We felt

like ok they dont want us to see this island.

then the next day we headed on the hop on hop off bus and got off a small beach area.

I was Looking at the hats since my hat from santorini is going to last me here.

When I left I hear from behind me Greek lady screaming she grab me and said I stoled her stuff.

I showed her my old hat and she stormed away from me.

we flew 13 hrs and went on 3 ships to get to this island and was not

treated nicely at all.

I don't think I will be returning to this island forever.

there are Maby islands closer to Athens and more tourist friendly.

Greek island hopping
