Photos: My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Travel is my passion and something that is bred into me. My parents have been to 87 countries and I am slowly catching up with my present tally at 17 countries over 4 continents.
Photography is my other passion. I cannot live without my camera and I take it everywhere. I would give anything to become a successful pro photographer but because I love it. Photography has to be the best job in the world and I want to be involved in it.
Therefore if I can combine the 2 things I love together I would be able to fulfil my dream of becoming a full time travel photographer.
I should be chosen for this assignment for numerous reasons. I will always put in 2000%, always strive to learn, open to new ideas, keen to meet new people, experience new cultures and to share all this with the world. I have strong experience in travel e.g. having lived overseas in Canada for 2.5yrs, coupled with my strong background in photography.
Finally I recently finished my Master of Business Administration in 8.5mths instead of the allocated 18mths. Therefore I can understand the business side of this assignment & how important it is.
I will do anything that is necessary for this assignment, while always having a smile on my face

Switzerland... Exceeds all Expectations

During my European summer trip in 2012 Switzerland was one of my most anticipated countries to visit. I had high expectations before visiting and it exceeded all of them when I arrived. Everything about this magnificent country was perfect. It was clean, sophisticated, had character, beauty and style. I loved every minute of my time there and want to one day live there permanently. From the majestic mountains that surround bustling cities to the flower boxes on balconies in the countryside chalets, all was absolute candy for they eyes. But it was not only the scenery that brought a smile to my face everyday, it was the people. The culture and friendliness of the Swiss are second to none. All are helpful when it is needed and generous beyond belief. Throughout the different regions this continued to transpire whether it was in the north where they spoke Swiss-German or the southern speaking Swiss-Italians. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute in this gorgeous country and recommend to all. Switzerland will hold a special place in my heart and I hope I can share this with the world.
