Floating City

I’m a 25-year-old Zoology graduate from Bristol with a lifelong interest in film & television production. The last 5 years have allowed me to accumulate a range of skills and knowledge that I hope to transfer to a career in documentary film making. Having graduated I spent 6 months hitchhiking across the USA filming people, places and stories en route. Last year I spent another 5 months cycling across Europe, with a continued focus on recording peoples stories whilst engaging with their cultures and lives respectively. I hope that the opportunity to conduct these practices in the company of a professional film maker would prove an invaluable experience; refining my existing skills, learning new techniques, using equipment otherwise unavailable to me and above all a chance to visit and experience South American culture, a lifelong ambition of mine.

Thank you for taking the time to read my application and watch my short. It was a real pleasure to make.

George
