Did I mention I have a gentlemen friend now?

So I arrived in Sydney on 01/12/2010 and I'm living Marrickville with Sir James of Cox in a very smart IKEA filled apartment. I'm working for an agency which has me working for.......the council! Yay! facebook all day. They don't really expect me to do much as im "only a temp" so that's nice.

Been up to loads of touristy jazz here and with the festive season n that I've been very busy. Lets see..... there's been burlesque shows and aquariums, wildlife parks and Beaches, Christmas dinner, New years fireworks and lots of photos of course.

Ah Melbourne....

I left Bowen 22/11/2010 for big city life with Ruth and Anna banana.

Melbournes SMASHING you should go. I undertook the odd bit of culture vulturing but mostly stuck to eating, drinking and shopping.....lovely.

Lovely bit of Wikipedia for you: Bowen is a town on the eastern coast of Queensland, Australia. Bowen has a population of 7,484

Bowen enjoys a diversified and prosperous economy based on agriculture, fishing, tourism, and mining. Bowen's unusually dry climate for a tropical location, plus its fertile alluvial soil, makes it the ideal place to grow a wide variety of small crops, including tomatoes, rockmelons (i.e., cantaloupes), and capsicums (i.e., green peppers). Outside the alluvial plain, much of the Bowen Shire is used for beef cattle.

I worked here for 3months on tomato and melon farms (Jergen, Turners and Marcos). Not much to report on Bowen, theres two pubs, one "club" a supermarket and some farms i think that sums it up.

From Home to Bowen

So the story begins. I set off from London on Tuesday morning at 11:30am just your standard basic flight.

Flew over what i think was a thunderstorm (it looked smashing) but it may also have been war torn Iraq... Not sure, did get a joke from pilot about it at the beginning of the flight.

Got into Kuala Lumpur at 9am on Wednesday and quickly realised the air asia departure lounge is a dump and didnt want to spend 13hours there. Checked into a hotel (had a wash and that) then got my flight to Melbourne.
