Photos: My Scholarship entry - Rainow Gatering 21 12 2012

My last experience took place in Palenque.
In occasion of the end of the Maya, thousands of people have joined the most important ruins of Maya to meditate about the "big change".
In Palenque a rainbow gathering has started and many people had lived for one month in the jungle sharing emotions, experience and love.
my photos are a resumen of what has gone the 21 first, waiting for the change in a common day in the raibow gathering.
A big message born from that experience from the union of the people and the message was LOVE.

My Photo scholarship 2011 entry

My first time in London, a city known worldwide for its enigmatic atmosphere, the fog and fast-paced. Coming from a small village in the Italian Alps was a breathtaking experience. I loved the rhythms, the gray concrete and those megalithic sites, knowing that it was temporary. I love photography because it allows you to record emotions and take them home. I participated for years in hopes of one day being able to share this experience with a National Geographic photographer.

My Photo scholarship 2010 entry

My last adventure took place in Iceland: three weeks alone and by bike. From the capital Reykjavik, riding up to the remote fjords of the west to photograph the community of puffins, a bucolic relaxation between the volcanoes of the Lake Mywatn and the crossing of the central desert on the legendary kjolur route. I took thousands of pictures, and themes in such a journey are many. What has afected me most were the population. 300,000 people living alone, evolved in a hostile environment that they love more than anything else. That's why I tried to represent this bucolic lifestyle and loneliness. I choose Black and white shoots because reprezent the strongly reality of Iceland where humans are constantly pendent of ice and weather conditions. I hope to win this contest because this workshop combines my passions: photography and travels. What a day I hope will be a real job.
