Photos: My Photo scholarship 2011 entry

I am an easy going, curious, passionate very focused and at times an extreme kind of guy. Life has been both good and bad and have taken lessons from both. I enjoy challenges and learning from others. What interests me the most is what goes on in people's minds and what drives them to do the things we do.

Self taught in photography and having read every magazine possible and website I am hoping to become a professional one day. Through this I am driven to capture life through my lens, the soul and the spirit of humans, places and experiences once I press my shutter button. I absolutely love telling stories through my compositions and am always trying to better myself.

I enjoy and respect all types of photography as the philosophies across these genre's is all based on passion and the ability to capture life as it is is unfolding around us. I strive to live a philosophy of integrity and to ensure my shots never age.

As a professional in the future I would aspire to travel wedding and photo journalistic activities with people around me that would support and keep helping. In return I would like nothing more to provide these opportunities to others out there that have no mentors in their lives. Through photography, I believe we can do this as a close family community. I love family and would love to have Jason as a mentor and hopefully be part of his family and experiences.

Photos: Hong Kong Morning Walk

A collection of portraits from the daily life of local people in Hong Kong. I wanted to capture attitudes and expressions from the locals as I walked from Tsim Sha Tsui to Yau Ma Tei to Mong Kok via Nathan road. Always wondered what is going on in their life and how different are their daily lifes from mine.
I love Hong Kong for many reasons and the people are one of them.
