My Name Is Garrett Cleary and I live in Dublin, Ireland. I have worked in the TV Industry since 2014 Starting as a Production assistant and making my way up to Camera assistant. I love assisting as I learn so much from it. I love the different lenses, Different lights, Colour science behind a shot, Learning how to approach people, Learning how to make people feel at ease when interviewing them, Learning that Life is amazing, and to tell somebody's life story through a piece of glass makes me feel excited. I love Travelling, Iv'e been to most Cities in Europe, Iceland, Scandinavia Spain, Portugal, Greece Switzerland. Ive always wanted to go to south America like so many before me, I feel like its a place that can be travelled but new stories will always come out of the wood work. Friends recently got back from Colombia and told me it was a Scary paradise, I said "SCARY PARADISE?? I wanna go" . Music is a big part of my life, My dad always drilled it into us from as young as 3, If you can play an Instrument you wont have a problem communicating with different people who speak different languages because music is a Language. I would love to concentrate on this, Music in the small villages of Colombia.

I am a very outgoing person, I am NOT shy and really love living, I just love it. you put me in a remote place to shoot a doc with no phone, no money and no contacts, I guarantee you that Doco is going to be the best one you have ever seen........EVER
