A 'place' I have visited

With the Earth becoming ever more populated, resources increasingly sought after and depleted, everyday life is under constant threat of global change. To have the opportunity to visit a country such as Greenland that has been relatively untouched by man, and document its natural beauty and that of those who populate the country would be a lifetime achievement.

With my motorsport photography I try to capture the whole atmosphere of the event. Be it behind the scenes, through to panning shots. In my landscapes I try to capture Nature in its rawest form. How natural lines of the horizon flow and light catching particular parts of the scene to give vibrancy to the colours within it.

I became fascinated by the micro world of insect after viewing some Arthropods on Flickr. I have a basic kit that allows myself to enter into capturing the minute details, colours and differences of each species.

For me to have the chance to be in the field working alongside an established professional will not only help me to raise my own personal standard of work, but gain more understanding of how the professional environment works in collaboration with media.
