A 'place' I have visited

Photographers are story tellers. Each and every one of these stories is unique and beautiful. Every time when I travel and I try to capture the essence of once place through my photos. Whether that is the local cuisine, a smile of a child, a look of an older gentleman, decorated homes, cat sleeping on the porch or colorful landscapes.
Sadly, I have not visited remote places nor I had the chance to do so. The only visual experience I had was by browsing the internet, watch documentaries or by browsing the National geographic magazine.
As an amateur photographer I don’t have many opportunities to experience the world given the place where I live in (which is the Balkans, more specifically Macedonia). Often enough as an amateur I’m not given any chance for the sake of the professional photographers. And I believe that this scholarship is the ideal experience for me and my photography. Learning from the best, experiencing adventure all the way, all because of photography. If chosen I will devote my senses 120% to the experience trying to capture the beautiful nature and adsorb all the knowledge I can get.
