Photos: Travel Photography Scholarship 2012entry

Im a simple and honest hobbyist. I take shots and photos of what I find interesting and at what other people may look interesting as well. I mostly take photos of nature and landscape photos at places I travel to and I also take photos of their practices and culture to give the picture a bigger meaning. I do away with putting myself in my travel photos because my intent is not to say "hey, i have been to this place", but instead tell the viewer of the photo"hey, I want to be in this place" I take pride not on the number of persons saying I had a great photo, or them saying "good job that's a wonderful photo", but I take pride that at the end of the day, I got to learn about the places I have been to, the people I got to talk to, and the experiences I get to share with them. My take away and rewards post travel would come in the form of me sharing to me colleagues the stories, experience I had and the intrigue of how it feels to be with the community, learn their lifestyle, history, and enjoy their nature.
