Photos: My Scholarship entry - Namib Impressions / Inside and from above

I started with photography quite recently because I wanted to see from my photographs how I percieved the places I visited on that particular day. When you are at a certain spot in the world you memorize places, impressions and happenings because you lived them through . When I go through my pictures at a different day and at a different place, I get reminded of things, landscpapes, people, animals I saw or met without having been conciously aware at the moment when the picture was taken.

This fact came to me during my recent travels through Africa and even more when editing my photographs so that I got reminded of the moods and feelings I went through on the day that picture was taken just by looking at the photograph. It's a way of experiencing the adventure again by having a different perspective.
