A sydney vam passar-hi dos dies, el primer fent una rapida visita a l'hospital perque a la martina li feia mal al voltant de les costelles,i es millor prevenir que curar... no era massa res, nomes una inflamacio al voltant d'una costella. Despres d'organitzar-nos, fer compra i bugada, vam anar a visitar una mica la ciutat. El centre, ple de alts edificis que tenen el seu encant, el port, i el harbour bridge i la opera (per cert no sabia que eren 3 edificis diferents...). Al vespre estaven cansats i ens vam ficar en un cine a veure les memories d'una geisha.

In sydney we spent 2 days, the first going for a quick visit to the doctor because martina had pain around her rips, nothing bad, just and inflamation of a rip that when away with a few pills. Ater organized ourselfs doing shoppingand laundry, we went to visit the city, the city center with its big shinning buildings, the harbour the harbour bridge, and the opera (i didnt know that it was 3 different buildings...) in the evening we went to the cinema to see the memoirs of a geisha.

El dia seguent vam comencar amb una visita a the rocks, la part mes vella de sydney, passant despres pel museu d'art modern, i despres agafant un ferry fins a darling harbour on vam visitar el museu maritim. despres vam fer via per anar a dinar a la torre amp, un restaurant molt bo dalt de la torra de comunicacions on tens vistes de tota la ciutat perque gira 360 graus. Despres de dianr i amb la panxa plena vam tornar a l'hostal per fer la migdiada tornant despres a la ciutat per agafar un ferry fins a manly i a la tornada disfrutar de la posta de sol amb vistes a la ciutat, i despres les llums de la opera!!!

The next day we started with a visit to the rocks, the oldest part of sydney, where it was a market, following the museum of modern art, and then taking a ferry to darling harbour, where we visit the nautic museum and walk around there before we went to have lunch in the amp tower, in a very nice fine restaurant that it was spinning 360 degrees with views of all over the city. After that we went back to the hostel for a nap and the we went back to the city, catching a ferry to manly and coming back seeing the sunset over the city, and enjoying the lights of the opera house at night time.

Despres de deixar brisbane tocavauna etapa de tres dies en que passariem per surfers paradise i byron bay, un campament per apendre a surfejar i una nit al mig de les muntanyes de new south wales.

After leaving brisnbane we were doing a 3 day way to sydney going trhough surfers paradise and byron bay, a surf camp where we learn surfing and spend a night in the mountains of new south wales.

El primer dia de brisbane a byron bay vam parar a surfers paradise, un lloc totalment turistic ple de edificis sense encant, a nimbin, ploble que va acollir un festival hippy als anys 70 i des de llavors esta ple de penjats que van fumats tot el dia i arribant a byron bay, un real paradis pels surfistes, una mica rotllo vigilantes de la playa... pero amb el seu encant.

The first day, from brisbane to byron bay we stopped at surfers paradise, a really touristy place full of tall buildings and empty of things to see.. then to nimbin, a rural village that held a hippy festival back in the 70ies and its been full of people smoking grass since. Arriving in the evening at byron bay, a real surfers paradise, a bit like baywatchers but nice...

El segon dia va rribar la hora de apendre a surfejar, i creieu-me quan dic que no es facil, al menys per un personatge com jo que ve acompanyat d'una cosa arrodonida que en diem panxa.... pero encara que no m'agantava massa dalt de la taula, m'ho vaig passar molt be!!

The second day it was time to learn how to surf... and belive me when i say its not easy, at least for a character like me that have a nice belly in front, Anyway, even dont doing very good it was fun!

El tercer dia despres de fer una caminada per un bosc maquissim va arribar l'hora de fer via cap a sydned (7 hores de bus)....arribant alla a les 8 del vespre i descobrint que no ens havien guardat la habitacio que haviem reservat. Per sort a l'hostal del costat vam trobar lloc!!

The third day, after a beautiful walk through the bushes, with the company of a few leeches, it was time to make our way to sydney (7 hours by bus)... getting there at 8 pm and finding out that the hostel didnt keep the room that we booked.... lucky us that we find a room in the hostel next door!!!

Brisbane

Despres de deixar herbie bay, era hora de retrobar-nos amb el tim i nat a on viuen, moloolaba. Va ser fantastic tornar-los a veure i com el primer cop ens van acollir amb els bracos obert i fent casa seva casa nostra, un altre cop gracies!

After leaving hervey bay it was time to meet tim and nat again where they are living, moloolaba. Was very nice to see them again and like the first time they welcome us with open arms and made their home our home, once again thank you!!

Mentre estavem alla vam aprofitar per anar al zoo d'australia que es del paio que fa la serie de tele dels cocodrils... no se el nom en catala... Pero es un lloc molt maco, pots veure des de com alimenten als cocodrils (igual que la tele), tigres, a acariciar koalas i cangurus!! un dia molt xulo!

While we were there we went to visit australian zoo, home of steve the croc hunter, where we saw him and his wife doing the show with the crocs, and we saw a tiger show. Also we had the experience of cuddle koalas and kangoroos!! was a really nice day out!

Despres del zoo i dúna pizza increible a la platja, vam anar cap a brisbane, on vam anar a la festa dels 30 anys del mich! Mentres estavem alla vam estar acasa del nick i la miriam (amics del tim i nat que vam coneixer a cairns), i els hem dágrair per ensenyar-nos la zona aixi com deisxar-nos estar amb ells, gracies!

After this and a pizza in the beach that was amazing!!! we head to brisbane where we went to mich 30th party! while we where there we stayed in nicks and miriam place (friends of tim and nat that we met in cairns), and also we have to thank them for showing the place as well as welcome us in their house, thanks!!! By the way we still blokus addicts!!

Fraser island

El dia 9 al mati agafavem un altre barco per anar a visitar fraser island, la illa feta de sorra mes gran del mon, casa de dingos (gossos salvatges) i altres criatures com aranyes i serps letals, grans llangardaixos... Un lloc presios amb platges de mes de 100 km de llargada que recomanen no banyar-se per forts corrents submarins i taurons...

The 9th we took another boat to visit fraser island, the biggest sandy island in the world, house of dingos, lethal spiders and snakes and big ass lizards...A beautiful place with more than 100 km long beach were they recomment not to swim for the currents and sharks...

Alla es on la martina i jo vam gaudir del nostre regal de nadal, un vol de 20 minuts per sobre de la illa, tenint un altre punt de vista d'aquest lloc, aterrant i despegant a la platja en una avioneta de nomes 7 passangers! una experiencia increible!!

There is were martina nd me enjoyed of our xmas present, a 20 min flight to see that place from another prespective, taking off and landing on the beach in that little 7 passangers plane!! and amazing experience!!

Despres de dinar (bastant horroros...) vam anar a passajar pel bosc tropical i a banyarnos en un dels llacs de la illa, abans de tornar cap a hervey bay!

After lunch (if you can call that lunch) we wlaked through the forest and had a swim in one of the lakes of the islands before we came back to hervey bay!

Dema marxem mes cap al sud on ens tornarem a trobar amb el tim i la nat!!

Tomorrow we heading south were we will meet tim and nat again!!

kroombit, the cattle station

El dia seguent pujavem a l'autobus amb la sorpresa que erem els unics passatgers pels proxims 2 dies, aixo volia dir atencio personalitzada del guia, la emma, una chavalita autraliana que ens va portar llocs on normalment no para el bus, com una de les platges on les tortugues posen els ous per aquestes dates, carreteres mes petites on vam veure molts cangurs oal final del dia i despres de 900km parar una estona per veure la posta de sol molt maca i despres una tempesta amb gran quantitat de llamps.

The next day we got up in the bus with the surprise that we were the only passangers for the next 2 days, that meant full attencion from the guide, Emma, an aussie sheila that stopped in places that normally never do, seeing a beach were the turtles lay their eggs, b roads to see kangoroos and after 900 km driving, stop to see the wonderful sunset and the lightenings!!

Un cop vam arribar a kroombit, una granja on tenen vaques, cabres, i altres animalots, vam sopar i vam fer servir un fuet (que no era d'espunya), el toro macanic i altres activitats.

Once we got kroombit, a cattle station with cows, goats and other animals, we had dinner, we learnt to use a whipp, the mechanic bull and other activities.

Al mati seguent, despres d'esmorzar vam fer mes activitats, primer vam anar a buscar les cabres perseguint-les amb moto cross, despres vam agafar una cabra amb el llac rotllo cowboy i despres vam fer tir al plat amb escopeta de veritat i no per anar de guais pero vaig fer un 5 de 5!! jo estava sorpres pero el tio de l'escopeta tambe!!

The next morning, after breakfast we did more activites, first we chase the goats with a motorbike to close them, the the get one with the laces in a cowboy way... and then the shoot the flying pigeons, and i dont want to get cocky but i did 5 of 5! i was very surprise!!!

Despres de plantajar-me el meu futur pensant amb els jocs olimpics de beijin i el tir al plat, vem fer via cap a hervey bay parant a 1770 un lloc descovert pel capita cook. Un cop al nostre desti final, va ser hora de despedir-nos de emma!! Gracies per aquests 2 dies de bon rotllo!!

After questioning my future thinking with olimpic games of beijin and the shooting... the went in our way to hervey bay, stopping in 1770 a place discovered by capitain cook. Once in our final stop, was time to say goodbye to emma!! Thank u for with 2 amazing days!!!

whitsunday island

El dia 4 vam anar de townsville a airlie beach, arrivant alla al cap vepre amb temps de banyar-nos a la piscina i anar a veure la posta de sol.
The 4th we moved from townsville to airliebeach, getting there on the late afternoon and with only time for a swim and see the sunset.
El dia seguent, agafavem un barco de vela per anar a veure una de les considerades 10 millors platges del mon, whiteheaven beach!! i realment no desepciona, la sorra mes blanca i fina que us pogueu imaginar combinat amb l'aigua mes blava i transparent, amb ocasionals tortugues treient el cap per respirar i sense deixarnos les medusses letals que ens privaven de banyar-nos.... un dia per recordar!!
The next day, we took a sailing boat to go to see, one beach that is considered one of the 10 best beaches in the world, whiteheaven beach (not the cumbrian one...)!! and u dont get disappointed, the whitest sand you can imagine mixed with a clear blue water, with turtles showing their head to breath and of course the lethal jellyfishes that stop us to swim in the sea... a day to remember!!
El dia seguent vam fer el gos i visitar una mica el poble de airlie beach, res especial, nomes un altre dia fent el gos i suant la cansalada...
The following day we did nothing special besides visiting airlie beach, just relaxing and sweting our asses off...
