My Scholarship entry - Through Local Eyes

I chose the Designers' Fair, WAMP, since all my friends usually go there and emphasize how unique this market is in Budapest. Despite that I have been only once, therefore it was a great occasion to discover. I am a videographer in Budapest, but worked only for websites, especially news sites - I worked for the biggest daily newspaper's site, noltv.hu. Before that I was the writer and editor of NatGeo Hungary. I have never really done a travel video, but I am planning to do either a blog or a website of my future travel videos. It has been a dream since I had my first video camera (4 years ago) to do my own travel films. I have travelled all over the world by myself and realized that I can connect to people of different cultures very easily, especially if I speak the language. I speak 5 languages including my mother tongue (English, French, Spanish, Italian - and understand some of Portuguese). I would like to take advantage of these skills and do professional travel videos. But for that I would need help. This scholarship, that would take place in one of my favourite cities (I have been to Rio once for 5 days, but that was significant) would be like a dream that comes true.
