So Far

Hello!!

So far, I've truly enjoyed my experience here in Ghana, 3 weeks have gone by and I still keep experiencing new things almost every day!!!

Nevertheless, my favourites are always related to local traditions or behaviours, like small kids yelling at you on the street: "Obruni, Obruni! How are you?", hahaha, they are excited of seeing an Obruni (white person) and they love to talk to you : )

Another thing is the fact that most of the Gnanaian people is eager to welcome you, they always say "Akwabba Ghana, Welcome to Ghana" each time you pass by, even after my 3 weeks here, and even after the 4 months a mate has been here, hehehe!!

The passion Ghanaians have for life, music, football and, over all, Ghana, is pretty amazing, they are always smiling when it comes to one of these matters.

And for the tourism, Ghana is a great option for enjoying beach, either you want to go on your own to enjoy solitude far away from everything (people, civilization, bathrooms...), or to go to a nice calm hotel, and even enjoying night life, you just have to know where to go : )

So, stay tunned for more info, and the specific data on some cool places to visit.

Greets and thanks for reading,

Esteban

Just the end of the Begining!

So,

After all this preparation at the hurry of the time, I am finally on the last day at hometown, in my parents house, ready to go ahead with the experience!

I have to say these days have been intense, you know, preparing luggage, friends throwing parties for your farewell, family trying to have a piece, a minute of your last days, when you don't have the time, nor space, to be there for them the way you would like to...

But verything starts to make sense when you remember the goal: I am leaving shortly, to live a great experience!! It seems crazy, specially where I am from, to be thinking, not only on an abroad experience, but to think about going to Africa, because it's even more difficult (and expensive), at least for the transportation, completely odd for everyone, but really amazing ant exciting for me.

So, here I am, at the end of the planning phase, ready to stand up, and start a trhilling experience...

Amazing...
