Russia

Hello from St Petersburg!
The 6.5 hour flight to Paris & 3 to Russia was quite pleasant save for the food. blek! But the food wasn't the worst part, not getting Tj's luggage was :( Poor kid is on day 3 in the same clothes. We boarded The Viking Rurik yesterday and have eating non stop ever since. The food, service, and people are very nice. Our day excursion today was a trip to the Hermitage (winter palace housing Catherine the Great's art collection) There are 117 staircases and more than 1,057 rooms filled with famous art purchased 1764-1774. My fave.... Monet & Renoir. The weather has been sunny and in the 80's w/ zero humidity. tonight we're going to the ballet to see Swan Lake.
