Beginning at the End

I'm heading home. It might seem like a strange time to begin recording my travel, but this is when the excitement, trepidation, and anticipation begins. To get where I am, I flew over an ocean. To get back to where I began, I'm going to travel by land. Over the last two years, although I haven't been living in my native country, I've had a stable job, an apartment, and travelling was a hobby for weekends or vacations. This will be different. Travelling will be my life. Three months of change, different languages, trains, hostels, hotels, buses (Poor busses, it only had a brief moment of popularity in the written word... As you can see here)

I like stability in my life. I hope I learn to like change as well. I'm not sure any of my small vacations prepared me for travel as a way of life (even if it is only for 3 months).
