Photos: My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Country born and growing up on a farm in the hills of the King Country in New Zealand, I have finally at 28 years old found 'what I want to be when I grow up'. I have a passion for photography (and am currently studying Diploma in Photography) and I am trying to find my way into doing something different to the other photographers around the area which I live.
Due to the fact I enjoy shooting both landscape and animals, to have this opportunity would be a huge learning curve along with a foot in the door to get started on a promising career. It would be an amazing experience both to be mentored by Jason and to see a part of the world so different to my own country and experience the culture, and also gain insight to what it will be like to be a National Geographic photographer.
Thank you for taking the time to consider my application.
