Dicey Dhaka

We arrived and the bus ride was like one of those documentarys about poor underprivledged countries with poverty, the average life expectency of the general population is 50, little food, poor living conditions, men cycling with a trailer full twice as high as them full of fruit to sell, the foundation of some buildings is bamboo majority at 45' angle, cops everywhere with rifles and thick sticks to beat 'troublemakers' beggers on the street. While in traffic kids who were amputees, blind poor came up to the windows knocking and begging for anything.

'Ol London Town

London is incredible and oh so much fun. Did the tourist thing during the day with this chick that I mett and saw Buckingham Palace, Prince William, double decker buses, Piccadilly circus, The london eye, St Pauls Cathedral, retro telephone boxes, house of Parliament, PM's house, Hyde Park, had Pizza on Thames river, royal courts of Justice and Big Ben.

After that we went to meet some friends at a pub called the Fine Line - had so much fun. Timed it well it was the annual beer festival and were shouted copious bottles of expensive champagne, sat around giggling, mimicking zoolander, singing 'tie me kangaroo down sport'. By that time we had to go giggled all the way home and almost got lost on the tube.

Nasty Nigerians

All I reall saw of Lagos was the 20min bus ride to and from the airport.

We got escorted by Police & had security guard and his trusty rifle on the bus with us, briefed us about keeping windows/blinds closed, if rebels take over then we can escape out the back but dont negotiate with anyone.

It is such a poor city and everything was run down, slums everywhere. People were so poor they were selling chewing gum on a board for cash.

Mamma Mia

First destination and I couldnt have picked a better if I tried. We only had 24hrs and had to make the most of it so ended up walking around for about 12 of it. SawRomano ruins, Fontana Di Trevi, Spanish Steps, Piazza del popolo, vatican and the swiss guards (whom looked like jesters), Castle Saint Angelo (angel of death), republic square, Campidoglio, Foro romano temple, Vittorio emanuele II, Monument sculpture and last but not least the Colliseum. We went to have dinner and walked around the cobblestone lanes with music, dancing, people, sat for dinner and had pizza with vino.

Ps. Also saw a famous Italian fight, road rage, the highlight of the day between a young man in a suit driving a new car and an old bald italian driving a bus!

Dubai Land

Duabi land is one big party. During the day in the desert there is not alot to do except for shopping or finding a spot next to a pool. So in the evening is when the vampires come out and it is time to play. Everything is open late and there is always something to do and somewhere to go.
