The town is in the middle of nowhere but has the largest silver / zinc deposit in the world so a fair amount of history. Also made it up to Silverton...star of many a movey and beer commercial

There is abit of work to do but its all very liveable. Having said that Jac is ebaying like crazy...2 new fire places, 2 new mantles, 1 bed to date!

A couple of weeks ago 8 of us (me, Jac, Debs, 7, Leanne, Kim, Matt, Beth) + 1 drunken skipper, Conner, set off for a weeks sailing in the Whitsundays. The weather looks alot better on the photos than it actually was..it was freezing at times. We all had a great time as the many many photos testify!

Camping Oz Stylee

Over the Queens Birthday weekend (cant believe they have a bank holiday for that but will save that rant for another time) went camping with 30 odd locals to the middle of nowhere. Despite the locals' unhealthy obsession with the conbustion engine, chopping down trees, chainsaws and driving vehciles through water made it out alive...just. The pictures dont do it justice...I had a great time!
