My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Living in the Australian outback I`ve come to learn that there`s more beauty in red dirt and dust than we could ever imagine.
We all have our `thunder` and i would like to believe that my `thunder` is to see not the big scope of life but to look beyond and find the extraordinary in a simple expression, a smile, a frown, the lines and wrinkles on hands that has been working hard to make a living and to provide.... and capture that.
Each picture we take is but a vivid moment and each picture not taken is lost forever.
This is an opportunity to learn and explore , because none of us will ever know enough.
For me, photography is a passion and to have a passion makes me happy. Life is short, we all should be happy!
