A 'place' I have visited

Since I was a child, I could spend hours sitting still and watch the world moving around me.There was something extremely powerful in every single movement of any organism that I saw. I watched the cloud moving across the sky on a clear day, imagining touching its softness. I watched the busy street, imagining the life story behind each face passing by. Photography became part of my life naturally as a mean to express my observation and the overwhelming feelings that rush into my vein whenever I catch a glimpse of something special. To me each photo is not only a visual image but a message that encompasses an unique rhythm, texture, scent, etc.

I kept yearning for more and more, and my passion to see the world brought me away from my family since I was fourteen. I travel abroad by myself to study in Singapore, and then Canada. At every single stop, I am always amazed by the nature, the city life, the people. All I want is to preserve these memories into photographs so that I will never forget.

The award to travel to Greenland is once of a life time opportunity. I believe if I am awarded this scholarship, I will be able to give a voice to the beautiful landscape of Greenland.
