Photos: My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I am john dx lapid i started my love with telling stories with photos, when i became the student publication's photojournalist for four years. My love for photography then revive, when i decided to resign as a tv reporter for 3 years i became a correspondent for a regional paper which im paid per photo and story about a hundred pesos. A lot of people are telling me that there's no money in photography, its not about the money but its all about the happiness you achieved in telling stories thru images. I always dream of making a living thru photography but i dont know how to start professionally, i believe that i can make this dream my livelihood, even a lot of people are against it, i know my heart is for this. i believe that i can tell stories in images. I believe that i deserve this because i am a person who can share what i can learn and i can tell stories.
