Last Minute! https://journals.worldnomads.com/dvaughan007/ Sat, 11 Apr 2026 05:43:10 GMT World Nomads Adventures Hey, last minute entry here<br/><br/>Vietnam and Japan!<br/>These are the two locations I have been LUCKY enough to have travelled to. Japan in 2005 and Vietnam in 2008. Back then I was madly snapping away with a Canon Powershot series P&S. I look back upon some of those pictures and still wonder why they hold such a surreal feeling even if they did come from a P&S. i believe its the senses associated with these photos! That is what makes them so special. On both occasions of my overseas exploration I was able to immerse myself within the culture<br/><br/>I have since upgraded myself to a Pentax K-5. On weekends I grab my gear and shoot off to some unexpecting location. Last weekend it was the Cliffs of Rosslyn Bay. The wind was so strong I had to refrain from nearing the edge due to the risk of being blown into the angry sea below. Laying down on my belly I was able to slither over to the edge of the cliff just enough to snap a few shots of the angry water contained beneath. Taking a few photos on the decent of my climb I raced back home to tell the amazing story of my afternoon adventure. <br/><br/>Even in my Hometown I have Adventures!
