My Scholarship entry - My Kind of Adventure

- The inspiration for making this video was to create a gift for the artists and support team participating in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Delegation for the Festival of Pacific Arts held in the Solomon Islands in 2012. (They havent seen it yet though). The festival only happens every four years, in different places, so it really was a once in a lifetime experience.

- I am an artist with a screen-based practice. While I have witnessed some proper films being made and participated in minor roles, I havent yet made my own. I am always keen to fulfil the vision of the group, while also being the DIY allrounder.

- Basically my ambition as a filmmaker is to keep shooting and sharing. Winning this scholarship would be a great honour and adventure for me. I have always wanted to get to South America, and I know that sharing the love would allow the experience go that bit further - many would be interested.
