Photos: My Photo scholarship 2011 entry

The photos are about a junior soccer team from NSW competing in Canberra soccer event called Kanga Cup breaking through the foggy to golden success.

I am a current final year Sports Media student studying in the University of Canberra. Before I came to Canberra, I was studying Sports Media in Sports University of Shanghai. I got all my knowledge about photography from university study especially during the period of studying in Shanghai. Before I use digital Camera, I spent one year on learning the black and white photos using film camera.

I was living in the country until 14 years old. I remeber one year I saved ?18 before May to buy a film and borrow a camerra from my uncle. I took almost 36 shots for wheat, cloud, trees, well, old houses and working people which was my first experience of taking photos.

When you take a shot, you just catch a moment about anything in the whole life of the world but it can tell stories of its past, now and future. You just freeze a moment with meaning. Things go they supposed to be without stopping for you and you just are there at that moment to click the bottom. You may spend a morning to wait for a second. You will forget to take the shot sometimes because the nature is so beautiful and you don't want to disturb them. That is all I know about photography.
