It has allowed me to become an appreciator of the good and the bad in life and the impact of every moment. I take this attitude with me when I travel; no one thing to me is normal or understated. Anything in the right context is awe-inspiring, and each moment is more powerful through the lens of my camera. I feel this scholarship will be a great opportunity for me as I have a strong desire to learn and hone my skills as a photographer. I can offer my passion and energy and channel this and my inquisitive nature into the photographs I take. Visiting Oman will be an incredible experience, a country blessed with not only an amazing coastal landscape but also a rich history; ones that I would love to both, explore and capture. I am an appreciator of the world around me. I feel the medium of photography captures like no other, arresting a moment in its purity. In its essence, photography is truth.
