I’ve an obsession with landscapes and wildlife, nature holds beauty that is incomparable and I want to be able to create an image that reflects this. Everyone has their thing - the thing that makes time slow, which makes one feel at peace within their environment. This is my thing. I had never been a good drawer or painter, but when I take and edit photographs I know that this was meant to be my creative outlet. It takes my entire focus, consumes my concentration and everything else is forgotten - I just love it. I study psychology and pursue photography on the side, however I find myself becoming more obsessed with the work of professionals and continue to realise I need to end up doing this. I have never been out of Australia, but I want to go everywhere and while I’m there take photos of everything. I want to go to unexplored and desolate places and capture it.
