Photos: My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

My name is Danielle Hansen & I'm a photography student based in Townsville, QLD. I hope to delve into the world of travel photography & photojournalism once I’ve completed my studies.
My driving point as a photographer is to inspire people, in the hope that this inspiration will insight doing, & thus instigate change on a much broader scale. Of all the decisions I've made in my life so far, & those that I continue to make, I know one for certain: I have to experience the world. And subsequently offer others some fraction of that knowledge & joy through my photography.
My utmost goal is to travel around the world & undertake projects with many people in many places, perhaps also working alongside NGOs on assignment documenting things that I believe the world needs to see.
As a current student, I strive to accumulate as much professional experience as I can, undertaking whatever internships, work experience and volunteer work I can find. Having the opportunity to work with Jason would not only be an incredible life experience & immense learning curve, but would also add extensively to my portfolio & experience in the field.
It would mean the beginning of something spectacular.
