My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Hello, my name is Daniel, I'm 18 years old and I have recently finished college where I studied the International Baccalaureate, one of the main reasons for doing this course was the international and universal aspect of it. I would like to broaden horizons and do something which can give me a chance to see the world and see things that very few get the chance to see. That is why I enjoy photography, it lets me show people unseen things or overlooked things to a wider audience, it also allows me to show people things from a different perspective. Photography is a universal media which is up to interpretation and is infinitely versatile. I am currently on my gap year with no set plans to go to university, so I see this as an opportunity to gain invaluable experience in a field I enjoy a great deal and a potential career option for the future.
