Photos: My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I am a born adventurer. When I am out with my camera I’m on fire. The natural world and different people and cultures have always fascinated me. I love the outdoors.
I’ve always dreamed of adventure and travel and photography is my great passion.
My style of photography is photojournalistic. It’s about capturing those unrepeatable moments and telling a story. There’s something incredibly exciting about freezing a moment in time. It’s just a brief glimpse but it can convey so much. I wait for that crucial moment; my instincts so concentrated on finding that next shot. I’m gripped inside.
There’s nothing more that I want than to be a professional Travel Photographer. It’s my dream and winning the scholarship would be a huge step up. Greenland would be so inspiring and the commission would really hone my skills.
I would learn so much and my photographic knowledge and skills would improve massively. I want my story telling style to educate through documenting the diversity of our planet and make a real emotional connection to the viewer that inspires and makes a lasting impact. That would be truly amazing!
I want people to feel what I feel when I see a powerful and memorable image.

I am a born adventurer and I’m at my happiest when I am travelling and photographing. When I am out with my camera I’m on fire. The natural world and different people and cultures have always fascinated me. I love the outdoors. Anything that gets me out into the world.

I’ve always dreamed of adventure and travel in far off lands and photography is my great passion. I can’t imagine being away without my camera. My style of photography is very much photojournalistic. It’s about capturing those unrepeatable moments and telling a story. There’s something incredibly exciting about freezing a moment in time. It’s just a brief glimpse but it can convey so much. I’ll be out from dawn ‘til dusk and beyond. Watching and waiting. My instincts concentrated on finding that next shot. I’m gripped inside.

There’s nothing more that I want than to be a professional Travel Photographer. It’s my dream and winning the scholarship would be a huge step up. Greenland would be so inspiring and the commission would really hone my skills.

I know I’d learn so much and it would improve my photographic knowledge and skills massively. I want that in the future my story telling style would educate through documenting the diversity of our planet and that I could make a real emotional connection to the viewer that inspires and makes a lasting impact. That would be truly amazing!

I want people to feel what I feel when I see a memorable image.
