Mexico Magico

Mexico is my born country, is full filled in colors, aromas, culture, traditions, food, sounds. Only 5 pictures couldn't show you what Mexico is, but could give you a sneak peak.

My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

As mexican woman is really hard follow your dreams. I remember the first time I took the camera and I started taking pictures, as a child I took pictures of everything, but my father let me know he won't be able to spend money developing horrible photos. I left the photography until several years after when my husband give me as birthday present my DSRL. I feel my childhood coming again through the lens and I decided follow my dream again. That could give you a perspective of my work: I never had profesional instruction, I see the world as a big picture that is waiting to be captured. I read books about photography but the most useful thing I ever did was "see" the works others photographers, that is how I "trained" my eye . Why you should chosen me? I have two daughters and as their mother I want show them follow the dreams. Is never to late to do it. Even if you don't have a long curriculum as backup, if you have the passion you could be get anything you want. Now they are growing here in USA (because my husband was transfer here) and I think the most valuable instruction I could give them is: No matter is you are a woman, just follow your dreams.
