A 'place' I have visited

Im Connor MacLeod from Devon, UK. Although, im studying BA(Hons) Photography at Falmouth University and going into my third year. I'm sure you're going to hear this a lot but I love to get away and experience new things. I have surfed since I was Eight and have not stopped. Surfing has taken me to a large number of destinations around the globe, some less trodden than others. It was on these trips that my photography would really develop as everything new would inspire me. I was fortunate enough to get to Iceland at the the of last summer for two weeks on a very spontaneous trip. I could not get over the people and the place, I would go back in a heartbeat. Over the two weeks I photographed the people and the landscape to end up with an overall portrait of the place. For me, my photography was a way of connecting with the people I met, on a different level. As I shot all of the project on medium format film it has a completely different feel to it, than if I shot it on a DSLR. I would thrive in this opportunity to experience Greenland taking the upmost from every encounter. Thank you for considering my application.<br/>
