Photos: My Photo scholarship 2011 entry

I am 27 years old and have had a great interest in photography for many years. However, in the past few years I have come to a point where I want to convey how I feel and who I am through my photography.

I grew up in Canada in a poor family and my parents, who fled their home in Iran after the white revolution, worked hard to provide for my brother and I. Now I live in Japan with my wife and 3 children. I want to do something I enjoy while experiencing other cultures and hopefully pass some of the experiences to my children. I have an interest in all the places of the world and hope to one day open the eyes of many about the many things that are going on. We are born and then we die, the exciting bits in between are life.
