Here we are less than 24 hours away from the trip of a lifetime and I am feely pretty anxious. 80% excited, 20% terrified.

Jesus, the anticipation for the last two months has just about done me in, but it's time. Time to get of the box, Colorado, the U.S., my comfort bubble and my support system and network. Time to put myself to the test and see what I'm made of. The last 29 1/2 years have led me to this point and it's time to show everyone that has put so much time, effort, energy and emotion into helping shape the human being I am today, that all of their efforts were worth it. I hope I don't let them or myself down.

My next dispatch will be from Espana. I wonder if anyone is actually going to read this thing. Only one way to find out I guess!

Well, here I am less than a month away and counting down the days until this trip really happens. I'm going through a plethora of mixed emotions right now. Excitement, fear, joy, apprehension, etc. I think if I wasn't a little bit nervous something would be wrong. More than anything, I am just grateful for the opportunity. Very few people get to do something like this in their lifetime and I just feel very lucky and fortunate to be one of them.

I know for a fact I am going to be a changed man when I come home and I'm sure it will be change for the better. I will try and update this blog as frequently as I can so everyone that wants to, can keep up with my adventures.

October 9th will be here faster than I know it, and I look forward to that day with anxious anticipation...
